These terms apply to every order you place on this shop. Please read them before you order. If you hold a trade or NHS account with us, any terms we have agreed with you in writing apply as well.
Buying as a consumer or as a business
You buy as a consumer when you are buying wholly or mainly for your own use, not for a business. Consumers have legal rights that these terms never take away — including the right to cancel most orders within 14 days (see Returns and cancellations) and the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If you buy for a business, the sections for business customers below apply instead where they say so.
Placing an order
When you place an order we email you to say we have received it. That email is not yet our acceptance: the contract between you and Mediplus Healthcare starts when we confirm your order or dispatch the goods, whichever comes first. If we cannot accept your order — for example because an item is out of stock or its price was clearly wrong — we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Each price is labelled "inc VAT" or "ex VAT"; the total you pay, including VAT and any delivery charge, is shown before you place your order. Card payments are taken securely by our payment provider, Stripe — we never see your full card number. Trade and NHS accounts may be invoiced and pay on the terms agreed with them.
Delivery
Delivery options and charges for your address are shown at checkout. See Delivery information. The goods are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to you, or to someone you nominate. They become yours once we have received payment in full.
If something is wrong with your order
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please tell us as soon as you can. As a consumer you can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of receiving them; after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that does not put things right, a refund or a price reduction. These rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and nothing in these terms affects them.
Business customers
If you are buying for a business: please check the goods when they arrive and tell us about any shortage or damage within 5 working days. The right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to business purchases; returns are by agreement. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to a business customer for any order is limited to the price paid for that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
Events outside our control
If something outside our reasonable control delays or prevents an order, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the delay. If it goes on for a long time, you may cancel and we will refund you for anything you have paid for and not received.
Your information
We use your details to process your order, as our Privacy notice explains.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint, email us at accounts@mediplushealthcare.co.uk, call us on 0203 432 0262 or write to us at 77 Greenfield Road Central London E1 1EJ United Kingdom. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve complaints quickly and fairly.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
